Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Konichiwa Jempsa (ranked 2828 p4p, 2154 weight class) and Momofuku Ando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ando has chosen Pot Noodle Patience as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Konichiwa Jempsa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Momofuku Ando! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jempsa dives in for a single leg takedown but Ando sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jempsa is trying to drag Ando to the mat but Ando just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ando breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jempsa slips under a jab. Ando takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ando gets caught flat footed, as Jempsa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ando wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jempsa manages to pass to side control. Ando is trying to stand up here but Jempsa is controlling him well. Ando really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jempsa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jempsa looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jempsa controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jempsa working over Ando with some ground and pound. Ando looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jempsa performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ando looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ando looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jempsa scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ando is trying to stand up here but Jempsa is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ando can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jempsa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ando wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jempsa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ando is looking to escape. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jempsa in particular looking to stall. Ando tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Jempsa manages to move to mount!

Jempsa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ando in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jempsa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jempsa throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ando has his hands clasped together but Jempsa breaks the hold and Ando is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jempsa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Konichiwa Jempsa! Konichiwa Jempsa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Momofuku Ando spoke after the fight, saying 'Stand and bang next time you COWARD!'.
