Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Nik Snow (ranked 3044 p4p, 22011 weight class) and Wassa Tayu (ranked 311 p4p, 472 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 19 - 5, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nik Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wassa Tayu! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow wants to slow Tayu down by chopping away at his legs. Tayu loads up on a big right hand but Snow slips the punch. It looked like Snow wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Snow has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Clark's Champion's in the buildup to the fight. Snow looks for the body kick but Tayu saw that one coming. Tayu lands with a cross. Tayu tries to move into range but Snow moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Snow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tayu. A slapping leg kick lands for Tayu.

Snow lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tayu's sensitive parts. Tayu misses the shot to the body. Snow fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tayu just manages to avoid it. Snow avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tayu takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Snow fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tayu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. We've been informed that Tayu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tayu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tayu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tayu misses with a hook. Snow ducked under it nicely. Tayu with a body punch. A glancing blow. Tayu throws a lazy right hand but Snow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Tayu on the wrong end of a nice hook. Snow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Snow quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Snow throws a right and a left that Tayu avoids nicely. Snow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tayu is trying to counter with his kicks. Tayu throws a body shot but no joy. Snow lands a leg kick that knocks Tayu off balance momentarily. Tayu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snow. Tayu misses with an uppercut. Snow saw that one coming. Tayu avoids the body shot from Snow.
Tayu unleashes a big counter combination but Snow bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Snow fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tayu on the side of the head. Snow dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Snow staying out of range there. Tayu misses the shot to the body. Snow is looking for a counter combo. Tayu avoids the head kick by Snow.
Tayu throws a poor cross that misses
letting Snow counter with a right hand. Nik Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snow lands a lovely overhand right. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Snow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tayu. Snow fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tayu just manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tayu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Tayu misses the shot to the body. Snow takes one to the side of the head.
Tayu checks a leg kick. Snow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tayu. Snow throws a quick inside leg kick. Snow throws a half hearted mid kick. Tayu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Snow scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Tayu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snow manages to avoid it. Snow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Tayu lands a body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tayu tries a head kick but it misses.

Snow is looking to counter with a body kick. Tayu looks to land a left hand but Snow moved out of range nicely. Snow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nik Snow will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Tayu misses with a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Snow on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Snow avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Snow thumps Tayu with a low kick. Tayu has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Snow. Tayu swings for the body but Snow moves out of range.
Snow thinks about countering with a body kick. Tayu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A right-left combo lands from Snow. Tayu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Tayu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tayu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tayu throws a lazy right hand but Snow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Snow is looking to counter punch. Tayu throws a hook to the side of Snow's head but Snow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Snow was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Tayu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Snow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A punch lands to the side of Tayu 's head but he takes it in his stride. Tayu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nik Snow is winning the standup battle so far. Tayu misses with a straight right. Snow avoids the body shot from Tayu.
Snow feints and then cracks Tayu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tayu down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A combination from Snow does no damage. Snow chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Snow lands a head kick!
Tayu misses with a straight right. Snow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Tayu takes one to the side of the head.
Snow scores with a hook. Tayu's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Snow moves out of range as Tayu strikes. A little feinted left hand from Snow on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Tayu throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it. Snow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tayu scores with a jab to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snow looks to land a right hand but Tayu moved out of range. Snow lands with a cross. Snow misses with a left hand and Tayu counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tayu throws a lazy right hand but Snow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Snow misses with a looping left. A lazy left from Snow finds it's target.

Snow is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Snow staying out of range there. Snow slips a jab from Tayu. Tayu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Snow's hands. Snow lands with a good body shot. Snow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Snow was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Snow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tayu is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Snow fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Tayu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snow. A left lands for Snow. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tayu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Snow cracks Tayu with a good jab. Snow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Snow bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tayu's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nik Snow dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Snow takes one on the button. Nik Snow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tayu takes a swing at Snow's ribcage but misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Tayu. A looping hook to the body misses from Tayu. Snow does a little dance to reset his feet. Tayu punishes Snow's body with a nice straight punch. Crunch! Snow slams his shin into Tayu's torso. Jab by Snow. Tayu misses with a hook. Snow ducked under it nicely. Tayu just misses with a punch to the body.
Snow darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Tayu with a body punch. A glancing blow. Tayu takes a body punch but keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow scores with a kick to the midsection. Tayu scores with a hook to the body. Snow takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tayu misses with an uppercut. Snow saw that one coming. A swing and a miss from Tayu. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tayu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snow - the referee stops the clock and Tayu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snow. Tayu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Tayu throws a body punch but Snow moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Snow.

Snow lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Snow stuns Tayu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tayu slips a straight right by Snow. Snow with a nice calf kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Snow. Snow avoids the body shot from Tayu.
Snow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Tayu thinks about the counter body kick. Snow throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tayu on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tayu connects with a jab. A big left from Tayu misses. Snow just misses with a punch to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tayu! But no joy. Snow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tayu can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Snow, as that shot connected.
Tayu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Snow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wassa Tayu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snow tests Tayu's chin there with a solid looking shot. Tayu has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Snow. Snow lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tayu will feel that in the morning. Tayu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A chopping leg kick lands by Snow. Tayu misses with a left hand and Snow counters with a nice body shot. Snow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tayu.
Tayu looks to throw the jab but Snow is out of range. Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tayu manages to avoid it. Snow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snow ducks under a wild hook from Tayu. Snow slips under a jab. Snow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Tayu scores with a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Nik Snow showed his dominance in that final round. Well Snow has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
