Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Udonis Okoro (ranked 4077 p4p, 3776 weight class) and Panda One (ranked 512 p4p, 485 weight class). Okoro comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Sad But True. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda One! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One drives through and clinches with Okoro against the cage.
Okoro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Okoro has managed to clinch.
Okoro misses with a short punch on the inside. One jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Okoro walks away with a smile on his face. One gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. One scores with a body shot.
Nice defenses there by One. One throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Okoro lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Panda One has been cut. Okoro tries to clinch there but One circles away.
Okoro tries to clinch but One is having none of it. Okoro gets in close and instigates a clinch. One tries a body shot but Okoro blocks it.
Okoro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
One breaks from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Okoro misses with a double jab.
Okoro lands with a slapping head kick. Okoro has managed to clinch.
One tries to work over Okoro's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. One is trying to pull guard but Okoro turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. One taking a breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. One has a couple of punches blocked by Okoro.
Okoro fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
One digs a right hand underneath Okoro's ribcage. Okoro let out a lung full of air as it connected. One jumps guard.
One looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
One throws his legs up looking for a submission but Okoro uses it to pass to side control.
Okoro decides to take the fight back to the feet. Udonis Okoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Okoro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by One.
One shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Okoro lands an overhand right. One drives through with a takedown into guard. Okoro has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes One off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. This has been an exciting period of action! One lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Okoro tries to clinch up but One circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Okoro moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. One misses with a wild body shot. Okoro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. One throws the left hand but Okoro avoids the punch easily. Okoro misses with a head kick.
Okoro tries to clinch but One is having none of it. Okoro throws a low kick but One avoids it. One is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Okoro's half guard. Okoro has one foot on One's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. One throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Okoro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Okoro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Okoro but Okoro pushes him off and we're back to square one. Udonis Okoro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panda One. Okoro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from One finds it's way round the side to connect with Okoro's head. One fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Okoro moves in looking to clinch but One pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One shoots in looking for a takedown but Okoro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing One's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Okoro misses with a left hand and One counters with a shoot takedown. Okoro fights it but they end up in guard. One has gone for a leg lock! Okoro slips out almost immediately though and dives into One's guard. Okoro distracts One with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. One working for a triangle but Okoro defends it easily.
One looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Okoro has picked One up and slammed him! One can't keep hold of the triangle and Okoro manages to pass to side control! We've been hearing that Okoro has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. One tries to buck Okoro off but Okoro is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okoro stands up. Okoro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Okoro. Okoro scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okoro misses with an uppercut. One ducks down and throws a hook to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okoro.
One feints the counter takedown. Okoro wants to clinch up but One keeps it at a distance. Okoro tries to clinch there but One circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! One scores with a shot to the body.
One digs a good body shot into Okoro's ribs. Okoro misses the shot to the body. One throws a body punch but Okoro moves out of range. Okoro looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Okoro looks to land a combination but One avoids it well. One clobbers Okoro with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. One rushes Okoro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. One's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. One thuds a left hand into Okoro's body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. One cracks Okoro with a right hand to the side of the head. One swats away the attempt to clinch by Okoro. Okoro wants to clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Udonis Okoro will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Panda One's cut. That's time! Back to the action! One swings and misses with a hook to the body.
One goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. One throws the left hand but Okoro avoids the punch easily. Okoro was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Okoro sizes up One with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Okoro tries to clinch but One is having none of it. One throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Okoro sees it coming and avoids it easily. Okoro lands a big head kick that sends One tumbling to the mat! Okoro takes a step backwards and waves One back to his feet - he wants the finish!
One is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Okoro scores with a hook to the body. One takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. One is still on wobbly legs! Can Okoro finish him? Okoro finds One's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! One flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Okoro lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure One will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Udonis Okoro!
