Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keizo Sawaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Travinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sawaki comes to the ring accompanied by Kodo by Yoshida Brothers. Julius Travinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keizo Sawaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Julius Travinski!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travinski tries for a takedown but Sawaki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Travinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Sawaki sprawls well. He's pushed Travinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Travinski.
Travinski looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sawaki is avoiding damage well.
Travinski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sawaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sawaki is trying to control Travinski's posture but Travinski avoids it.

Sawaki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Travinski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sawaki is fending him off so far but Travinski persists. Nope, Sawaki circles away and we're back to standing.
Keizo Sawaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julius Travinski.
Travinski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sawaki.
Julius Travinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Travinski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sawaki's waist but Sawaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Travinski off to one side.

Sawaki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Travinski's sensitive parts.
Sawaki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Sawaki cracks Travinski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Sawaki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Travinski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sawaki to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sawaki cracks Travinski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Sawaki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Travinski, pushing him back against the ropes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Sawaki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sawaki pushes Travinski back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Sawaki is working for takedown but Travinski is calmly controlling the position for now.

Sawaki digs a right hand underneath Travinski's ribcage. Travinski let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Sawaki lands a damaging elbow.
Sawaki pushes Travinski back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Travinski has Sawaki pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Sawaki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Travinski is trying to trip Sawaki. He has hold of a leg but Sawaki is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Travinski persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Sawaki has his feet on Travinski's thighs here. He's pushed Travinski off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Travinski screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
