Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni De Rossi (ranked 2487 p4p, 4363 weight class) and Carlos Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Rossi comes to the cage accompanied by Paky - Blauer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Mendoza!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as De Rossi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
De Rossi moves into the clinch successfully.
Mendoza trying to control the position but instead, De Rossi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mendoza into the cage.
De Rossi keeps control of Mendoza as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
De Rossi jumps into guard, dragging Mendoza to the mat.

Mendoza is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but De Rossi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mendoza is looking to defend but De Rossi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mendoza! De Rossi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mendoza taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Giovanni De Rossi!
A very excited looking Giovanni De Rossi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
