Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sirus Hall (ranked 2110 p4p, 2163 weight class) and Edgar Frankies (ranked 261 p4p, 270 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Thin Lizzy - Cold Sweat. Frankies has chosen Steady as she goes as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sirus Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edgar Frankies!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankies shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hall but Hall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hall went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Frankies shoots and misses
and Hall counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Frankies throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hall was covering up waiting for the punch and Frankies finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Frankies is looking to work some ground and pound but Hall has wrist control.
Hall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Frankies is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frankies loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Frankies throws a big right hand that misses.
Hall looking for a sweep. Not yet Hall, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frankies lands a couple of digs.
Frankies content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hall has locked up a guillotine! Hall's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Frankies is holding on here and Hall must be using up a lot of energy. Frankies has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hall gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
