Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Attila Storm (ranked 2522 p4p, 3575 weight class) and Khamzat Sonnen (ranked 287 p4p, 386 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Storm doesn't seem bothered though.
Storm misses with a two punch combination.
Sonnen throws a combination. Storm tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sonnen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Storm wants to slow Sonnen down by chopping away at his legs.
Sonnen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Storm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sonnen moves out of range of the leg kick from Storm.

We've been told by Storm's head coaches at Gorilla Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Storm scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sonnen in his tracks.
Storm is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sonnen.

Khamzat Sonnen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm misses with a lunging right hand
and Sonnen counters with a huge left! Storm is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sonnen isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Storm from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sonnen!
