Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phol Hunt (ranked 3669 p4p, 3425 weight class) and Carlito Broxtino (ranked 396 p4p, 376 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlito Broxtino!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt missing with a left hand there. Broxtino was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Broxtino looks like he wants to counter punch here.
The crowd cheers as Hunt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Broxtino doesn't seem phased though.
Hunt throws out a loose jab but Broxtino uses good head movement to avoid it.
Broxtino gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hunt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hunt lands a head shot.
Broxtino tries to clinch up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hunt pushes Broxtino back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Broxtino struggles to land a body shot inside as Hunt controls his hands.
Hunt taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Broxtino lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hunt or not.

Hunt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Broxtino.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hunt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hunt throws a jab when Broxtino was well out of range.
Broxtino keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Broxtino tries to counter with a clinch but Hunt shakes him off and moves away.
Hunt looks to land a combination but Broxtino avoids it well.

Hunt lands a left and a right that send Broxtino crashing to the mat, dazed. Hunt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Broxtino is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Broxtino up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Hunt from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Broxtino's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phol Hunt!
