Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Paiwia (ranked 4935 p4p, 4704 weight class) and Danny Johnson (ranked 451 p4p, 443 weight class). Johnson has chosen Eminem-8 Mile as his entrance music. Danny Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Paiwia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Paiwia is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Paiwia tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.

Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Paiwia is controlling him.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paiwia sprawls well. Paiwia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Paiwia controlling the position well here. Johnson rolled but Paiwia kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
