Johnson has chosen Eminem-8 Mile as his entrance music. Danny Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Paiwia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Johnson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots and misses letting Paiwia counter with a right hand. Paiwia displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson. Paiwia swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Paiwia tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Paiwia is controlling him. Paiwia looking to pass the guard. Paiwia stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Paiwia landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Paiwia decides to stand back up. Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Paiwia. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paiwia sprawls well. Paiwia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Paiwia counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Johnson trying to stall but Paiwia improves his position.
Paiwia tightens his grip and picks Johnson up, before dumping him to the ground. Johnson manages to land in guard. Paiwia is standing up over Johnson. Johnson looks to escape but Paiwia dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is not content to let Paiwia control the position. Johnson taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson wants to get back to his feet. Paiwia controlling the position well here. Johnson rolled but Paiwia kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paiwia has his arm under Johnson's chin here. Game over son! Paiwia squeezes tightly and Johnson is forced to tap out!
