Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Arnason (ranked 3562 p4p, 3098 weight class) and Dominik Dlask (ranked 384 p4p, 343 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arnason gets caught flat footed, as Dlask shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dlask scoring with some ground and pound.
Arnason is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dlask trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dlask postures up in Arnason's guard and throws a big left but Arnason blocks it.

Arnason seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Dlask looking to sit in guard and control but Arnason gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Arnason wants to control from the top but Dlask keeps moving.
Arnason stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dlask swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Arnason controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dlask is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dlask tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dlask pulls Arnason in to control the position.
Dlask looking to hit a scissor sweep but Arnason is one step ahead there.
Dlask lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arnason seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Dlask wants to control from the top but Arnason keeps moving.
Arnason is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Arnason working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dlask doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dlask manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dlask working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Dlask is in close to Arnason's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Dlask really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arnason. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Arnason is trying to control the position but Dlask postures up.

Dlask postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Arnason covers up, he's hurt! Dlask keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dlask and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dlask can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
