Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jair Brown (ranked 2665 p4p, 1503 weight class) and Richard Mesquita (ranked 302 p4p, 198 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jair Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Mesquita!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mesquita tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mesquita closes the distance and clinches.
Mesquita is trying to pull guard but Brown turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Brown lands a shoulder strike.
Mesquita jumps guard but Brown stands there with Mesquita around his waist. Mesquita gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Mesquita.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mesquita can do to turn this around?
Mesquita feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
