The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kersikov I I throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ilmarinen drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kersikov I I defends it well.

Kersikov I I drops Ilmarinen with a beautiful combination! Ilmarinen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kersikov I I is looking for the KO!

Ilmarinen is rocked!
Kersikov I I lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ilmarinen up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kersikov I I from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ilmarinen's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
