Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bofur Widenose (ranked 1518 p4p, 1559 weight class) and Thanos Doomsday (ranked 228 p4p, 235 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Widenose shoots for a takedown but Doomsday saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Doomsday works the jab nicely.
Widenose drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Doomsday misses with a wild body shot.

Doomsday tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Widenose manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Widenose avoids the body shot from Doomsday.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Widenose has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Doomsday clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Doomsday is trying to get back to his feet but Widenose has full control of the position and if anything, Doomsday has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Widenose slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Widenose is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Doomsday has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Widenose has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Doomsday taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Widenose doesn't care though - he's delighted!
