Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between J.R. Junior Juniors Jr. (ranked 3922 p4p, 4168 weight class) and Marcel Romanow (ranked 418 p4p, 427 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Romanow!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanow blocks a low kick nicely.
Juniors Jr. bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Juniors Jr. looks to land a left hand but Romanow moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Romanow throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Juniors Jr. swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A cross from Romanow lands.
Romanow throws a body punch but Juniors Jr. moves out of range.
Juniors Jr. was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Romanow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Juniors Jr. looks to throw the jab but Romanow is out of range.
Juniors Jr. turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Juniors Jr. uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Romanow.

Romanow takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Romanow rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Juniors Jr. counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Juniors Jr. fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Romanow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Juniors Jr..
Romanow is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Juniors Jr. fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Romanow is out of range.
Juniors Jr. slips a jab from Romanow.
Juniors Jr. thuds his right hand into Romanow's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Juniors Jr. moves out of range as Romanow strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Romanow 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Romanow is defended easily by Juniors Jr..

Romanow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Romanow throws an elbow but Juniors Jr. slips to the side and avoids it well.
Juniors Jr. has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Romanow has hold of Juniors Jr.'s arm. He's looking for a kimura. Juniors Jr. seems comfortable defending it but Romanow has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Juniors Jr. is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Juniors Jr. is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Romanow couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A relieved looking Marcel Romanow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
