Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Mendez (ranked 1369 p4p, 766 weight class) and Calvin Green (ranked 181 p4p, 107 weight class). Green comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kingslayer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Calvin Green has been cut.

Green throws a lazy right hand but Mendez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Green throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Calvin Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Green was well out of range. Poor timing from Mendez.

Mendez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Green's guard.

Calvin Green's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
