Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Hackl (ranked 1958 p4p, 3409 weight class) and Hristo Borisov (ranked 265 p4p, 418 weight class). Hristo Borisov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Hackl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hackl misses with a body kick.
Hackl looks to land a body kick but Borisov moved away.
Borisov throws a head kick but Hackl moves out of range.

Borisov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hackl defends well.
Borisov throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hackl uses it to pass to side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Andre Hackl will probably get the nod.

Borisov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hackl's waist but Hackl gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Borisov off to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Borisov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Hackl wants to control but Borisov is keeping busy and won't allow it.

and Hackl cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Borisov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Borisov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hackl defends well and Borisov ends up having to push Hackl into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Borisov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hackl - the referee stops the clock and Borisov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hackl. Borisov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Borisov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hackl tries to avoid it but Borisov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hackl to the ground. Hackl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Andre Hackl showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hackl, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
