Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neymar Gracie Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto Sutton! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie Jr looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sutton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sutton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sutton trying to control the action but Gracie Jr is working from the bottom. Gracie Jr manages to get to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie Jr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sutton manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sutton is trying to control the position but Gracie Jr postures up. Gracie Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sutton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sutton wants to sweep but no luck. Sutton can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gracie Jr is working for a submission of some sort.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie Jr's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Gracie Jr is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sutton defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sutton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gracie Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sutton is trying to maintain the position but Gracie Jr is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sutton is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gracie Jr is staying active. Gracie Jr seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sutton is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
