The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericksen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ericksen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zurutuza doesn't seem bothered though.
Zurutuza fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zurutuza throws a head kick but Ericksen moves out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ericksen.
It looks like Yuri Zurutuza has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ericksen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Zurutuza shoots in and drives through. Ericksen sprawls well.
Zurutuza looks gassed!
Ericksen cracks Zurutuza with a big right hand and Zurutuza goes down!
Zurutuza is rocked!
That has opened up Yuri Zurutuza's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ericksen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Zurutuza is still on wobbly legs! Can Ericksen finish him?
Zurutuza drops his hands momentarily. Ericksen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Zurutuza staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Zurutuza doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marshall Ericksen!
