Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfafa Muerte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alfafa Muerte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Muerte blocks a head kick by Ortiz.
Muerte drives through and clinches with Ortiz against the cage.
Ortiz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Muerte leaning his opponent against the cage. Muerte missing with knees to the body.
Muerte using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ortiz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Muerte. Ortiz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ortiz throws a head kick that half lands.
Ortiz tries to clinch but fails miserably and Muerte counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ortiz is lucky that one didn't land flush. Ortiz throws a head kick but Muerte moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Muerte misses the target. Muerte misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Muerte looks for a takedown but Ortiz sprawls well. Ortiz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Muerte or perhaps it was just good defense by Ortiz which made him look bad. Ortiz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Muerte. That did some damage! Alfafa Muerte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ortiz pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Muerte takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Muerte will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Muerte looking to control but Ortiz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ortiz wants to control but Muerte is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ortiz is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ortiz is trying to reverse the position but instead Muerte has taken his back - oops! Muerte gets his hands free as Ortiz looks to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muerte controlling well, preventing Ortiz from escaping the position.

Ortiz defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Muerte's arms. Ortiz trying to control but not successfully. Ortiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muerte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Ortiz. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ortiz tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick lands from Ortiz that sends Muerte to the canvas. Muerte tries to scramble back to his feet but Ortiz brings him back down into side control.
Muerte is rocked! Ortiz tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Oh Muerte is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ortiz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Muerte seems to have got his legs back now. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muerte really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ortiz trying to control the action but Muerte is working from the bottom. Ortiz taking a breather here. Muerte takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Muerte is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ortiz just content to control the position. Ortiz tries to stand but Muerte is controlling his head.
