The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kincaid shoots for a takedown but Menezes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kincaid pushes down on Menezes's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Menezes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Menezes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kincaid is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've been hearing good reports from Kincaid's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
