Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lee (ranked 2996 p4p, 3177 weight class) and Jimothy Jones (ranked 381 p4p, 394 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimothy Jones ! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones . Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones , which made it look bad. Lee keeps the fight on the outside. Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. I was talking to Lee's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Lee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage. Jones working aggressively here.
Jones looking to slow down the pace here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jones misses with the head strike.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lee misses with an elbow over the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy. Jones throws a head punch that misses. Lee successfully pulls guard.
Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones landing some decent shots from guard. Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well. Jones told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Lee controlling the position. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lee keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lee has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jones should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lee has tightened it up now! Jones should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
