Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Melbye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Bags (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melbye comes to the cage accompanied by The Beast and the Harlot. Bags has chosen Princes of the Universe as his entrance music. Matt Melbye is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Melbye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Bags!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bags circles away from the clinch attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Melbye.
Melbye misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bags misses with a straight left.
Bags thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bags throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bags throws a jab but it's blocked by Melbye.
Melbye tries to clinch there but Bags circles away.
Melbye throws a low kick, looking for Bags's leg but Bags calmly moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bags rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Melbye moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Melbye, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bags takes the fight into the clinch.
Bags escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Melbye closes the distance but Bags moves to the side
and Bags counters with a single leg into guard. Melbye didn't expect that.
Melbye is looking for a triangle but Bags pushes his legs off easily.
Melbye working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bags doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Melbye is tightening it up a little... Bags has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bags reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bags taps out! nice BJJ there by Melbye!
