Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 3687 p4p, 1816 weight class) and Nedjeljko Markovic (ranked 437 p4p, 245 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioni getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Markovic moves out of range of the strikes.
Markovic doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Carioni lands with a shot to the body.
Carioni connects with a crisp jab.
Markovic throws a hook to the side of Carioni's head but Carioni sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carioni throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Markovic counter with a right hand.

It looks like Rodrigo Carioni has been cut.
Markovic lands a jab.
Markovic throws a body kick that misses.
Carioni stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Markovic.
Markovic slips under a jab.
Markovic throws out a counter right but Carioni avoids it with no problem.
Markovic gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Markovic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carioni moves away.
Nice uppercut lands for Carioni. That snapped Markovic's head back.

Markovic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carioni tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Markovic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Carioni misses the jab.
Carioni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Markovic moves away.

Carioni avoids the body shot from Markovic.
Markovic lands the left hand.

Carioni sends Markovic crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carioni is motioning to the referee to let Markovic up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Carioni connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Markovic is holding his hands too far apart here. Carioni throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Markovic is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
