Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hong Kong (ranked 836 p4p, 989 weight class) and Gul Dukat (ranked 113 p4p, 133 weight class). Kong comes to the cage accompanied by Tom Cochrane - Life Is A Highway. Dukat has chosen Guillotine (Swordz) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukat takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kong misses with a wild body shot.

Kong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Dukat seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kong has his foot on Dukat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dukat works his way back into a safe position though.

Kong is rocked!
Dukat lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kong quite badly. Kong pulls Dukat in close trying to recover. Dukat postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kong on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kong doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gul Dukat!
In his post fight interview, Gul Dukat started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
