McDonald comes to the cage accompanied by Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother. Knox comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Five Finger Death Punch | Bad Company kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jim Bob McDonald has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeta Knox!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McDonald misses with a wild body shot.
McDonald throws a right and a left that both miss.
Knox throws out a counter right but McDonald avoids it with no problem.
McDonald looks to land a right hand but Knox moved out of range.

McDonald closes the distance and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for McDonald.
McDonald digs a right hand underneath Knox's ribcage. Knox let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Knox is looking to control McDonald's arms but McDonald gets an underhook and turns him. Now Knox has his back to the cage.
Still in the clinch, McDonald scores with a nice short uppercut.
McDonald misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McDonald fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Knox misses with a punch on the inside.
Knox tries to break free but McDonald pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knox is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McDonald is keeping busy.

Knox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knox throws a hook but McDonald blocks it.

McDonald cracks Knox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

McDonald closes the distance and clinches.
Knox tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Knox manages to break the clinch.
McDonald throws a right and a left that both miss.

McDonald clinches.
A short right from McDonald on the inside.
McDonald tries a body shot but Knox blocks it.
Knox tries to work over McDonald's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McDonald misses with a hook from the clinch.
Knox lands with a short shot to the head.
Knox blocks an uppercut.
Knox working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McDonald jumps guard.
McDonald can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Knox controls the pace.
McDonald looking for a sweep. Not yet McDonald, not yet.

Knox must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Knox controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
McDonald lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

McDonald wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving.
McDonald postures up in Knox's guard and throws a big left but Knox blocks it.
McDonald loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
McDonald scores with a hook to the body. Knox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

McDonald cracks Knox with a right hand to the side of the head.
McDonald fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McDonald lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McDonald waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Knox.
Jim Bob McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from McDonald.
Knox looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch but Knox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A big left from McDonald misses.
A little jabbing left from Knox on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McDonald misses with a lunging right hand
and Knox counters with a right hand to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McDonald misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knox.
Knox misses with a wild body shot.
Knox uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDonald.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Bob McDonald dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and McDonald counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Knox misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling McDonald to counter with a crisp jab.
McDonald swings widly with a right hand
and Knox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jab, jab by McDonald - just one landing.
Knox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDonald was well out of range. Poor timing from Knox.
McDonald swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
McDonald cracks a nice hook into Knox's ribs.
McDonald looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McDonald tries to clinch up.

McDonald throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Knox tumbling to the canvas!

Knox is rocked!

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Knox is still in real trouble! Can McDonald finish him?
Knox trying to keep a closed guard but McDonald is proving a slippery customer.
Knox seems to have recovered his senses.
Knox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McDonald has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDonald throws a big right hand that misses.
McDonald with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
McDonald controlling from the top position.

McDonald gets to his feet and stands over Knox, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Knox felt that one! McDonald unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Knox from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Bob McDonald!

During a confident post fight interview, Jim Bob McDonald thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Zeta Knox was interviewed post fight and said '"If you haven't lost in this sport, you haven't fought the right guys yet." (Matt Hughes) '.
