The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pulkkinen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Melondov.
Pulkkinen cracks Melondov with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jab, jab by Melondov - just one landing.
It looks like Albert Pulkkinen has been cut.
Melondov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pulkkinen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice defenses there by Pulkkinen.
Pulkkinen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Melondov.
Melondov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've been told by Melondov's head coaches at House of 1000 Corpses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pulkkinen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Melondov's corner calls for a 1-2. Melondov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pulkkinen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Melondov knocks out Pulkkinen with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Melondov before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Melondov picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Zheko Melondov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
