Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Adam (ranked 4336 p4p, 24982 weight class) and Yacoub Zafir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Adam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yacoub Zafir!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zafir connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Adam's hands.
Zafir throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Zafir blocks a low kick nicely.

Adam changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zafir looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Adam decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Adam closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zafir's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adam is working Zafir over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Adam stands and throws Zafir's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Adam is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adam is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Adam's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Adam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zafir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Adam remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Adam stands up and we're back to a striking position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Adam.
Zafir appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Adam shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Adam moves into full mount! Zafir won't be happy about that!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Adam controlling from the full mount.
Adam with the ground and pound from mount.
Adam lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Zafir hang on?
Adam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Adam is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Adam extends the arm and Zafir is forced to tap!
