The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Spider's sensitive parts.

Spider manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Spider drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spider jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones wants to sweep here but Spider controlling him for the moment.

Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Spider wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Spider.
Jones has a hand on Spider's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Spider takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Spider has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jones! Can he survive? No! He's out! Spider gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
