The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ribodeaux closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Goff to the mat! Goff manages to get full guard.

Ribodeaux has gone for a leg lock! Goff slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ribodeaux's guard.

Ribodeaux has his foot on Goff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Goff works his way back into a safe position though.

Goff thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Goff is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Goff drops back looking for a leg! Ribodeaux is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ribodeaux manages to kick Goff off! Goff jumps back into Ribodeaux's guard.
Goff sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ribodeaux's guard.
Ribodeaux is looking to improve his position.

Goff wants to finish this one by submission but Ribodeaux is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Goff.

Goff is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ribodeaux to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ribodeaux shrugs it off.
Goff moves to back control.
