Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damien Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johnson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Salvacion is trying to control the position but Johnson postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass.
Johnson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Salvacion knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Salvacion is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Johnson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Salvacion is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
