Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suutari Nuorempi (ranked 1655 p4p, 1485 weight class) and Maw Real (ranked 221 p4p, 197 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Suutari Nuorempi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maw Real! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nuorempi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Real on the side of the head. Real connects with a jab. Nuorempi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice body punch from Real. Real looks to throw the jab but Nuorempi is out of range. Nuorempi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nuorempi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nuorempi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Real swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nuorempi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Real! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nuorempi taking a breather here. Real is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nuorempi is controlling him well. A lull in the action here as Nuorempi stalls from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Real wants to get back to his feet but Nuorempi drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nuorempi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Real knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nuorempi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Real has escaped the position, nice work there. Nuorempi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Real can do anything to dispel that myth. Nuorempi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nuorempi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nuorempi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Nuorempi is trying to get an arm triangle but Real is defending well. Real really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nuorempi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Real being controlled for a moment. Nuorempi has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nuorempi has control of Real's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Real regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Nuorempi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Nuorempi throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Real because Nuorempi loaded up on that one. Nuorempi wants to finish this one by submission but Real is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nuorempi. Nuorempi wants to control the pace but Real is squirming around nicely. Nuorempi seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Real is holding on tight.
Nuorempi controlling the position easily from mount. Nuorempi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's six minutes gone in the round. Nuorempi looking to control and managing it successfully. Nuorempi is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Nuorempi!

During a confident post fight interview, Suutari Nuorempi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
