Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Connor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Big! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Connor! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Big as Connor shoots in. Connor takes a body punch but keeps moving. A solid leg kick lands there for Connor.
Big cracks a nice hook into Connor's ribs. Big looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A jab from Big misses. Big looks for the body kick but Connor saw that one coming. Connor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Big throws out a loose jab but Connor uses good head movement to avoid it. Big gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Connor wants a takedown but no success here.

Connor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Big. Connor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Big misses with a few strikes there.
Connor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Connor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. This has been an exciting period of action! Big moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Big looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Big looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Connor prevents Big from getting back to his feet. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Big keeping full guard, as Connor tries to pass. Connor trying to control the position from guard on top but Big is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Big is trying to keep Connor in close.
Big has his foot on Connor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Connor works his way back into a safe position though. Connor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Connor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Big doesn't seem bothered though. Big lands the left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Connor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Connor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Connor with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Connor looks gassed! Big keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Connor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Big is surviving well by controlling Connor's body position as best he can. Big sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Connor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Big keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Big tries to roll over but Connor keeps him under control. Connor stalling. Big actively working from the bottom here. Connor uses his free foot to push down on Big's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Big. Connor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Big is looking to escape. Big is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Big is looking to get to half guard. Big swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Big working to try and regain half guard.

Big might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Big wants to control but Connor is having none of it. Connor goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Big turns into him and now he's in Connor's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Big will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A punch combination from Big misses. Connor slips under a jab. Connor takes a shot right to the bread basket. Connor shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A combination from Big does no damage. Connor slips a jab from Big. Big throws a right and a left that both miss. A shot to de liver by Big. Beautiful body shot. Connor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Big wants to get back to his feet.

Big looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connor trying to mount his opponent but Big defends it. Connor is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Big has managed to free his arm - good work. Big is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Big looking for submissions off his back. Connor works his way into full mount! Connor looking for a guillotine from mount but Big is having none of it.

Connor fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Big gets back to half guard. Big is refusing to be controlled, as Connor sits in half guard. Connor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Big is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Big sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Connor trying to control from half guard but Big is working away. Connor is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Big tries to get to full guard but Connor has control of the leg. Big is staying active underneath Connor, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Big is looking for a sweep. Connor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Big is defending against the submission attempts here by Connor.

Connor drops back looking for a leg! Big is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Big manages to kick Connor off! Connor jumps back into Big's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Big dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Big throws a right and a left that Connor avoids nicely. Big swings and misses with a shot to the body and Connor counters with a shoot takedown. Big fights it but they end up in guard. Connor drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Connor as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Big screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Connor! Nice submission victory there!
