Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Toker (ranked 4499 p4p, 4498 weight class) and Joe Regular (ranked 479 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Regular takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Toker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Regular manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Toker tries to sprawl but Regular drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Toker is looking for a sweep. Regular is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Regular decides to stand up.

It looks like Joe Regular has been cut.

Regular closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Regular lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The referee asks Regular politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Regular prefers to stall for the moment though.
Regular has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Regular decides to stand back up.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Toker, as that shot connected.

Regular drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Toker wants to get back to his feet but Regular is dominant here and he's now got Toker's back!
Regular just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Toker is trapped and Regular is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Toker is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Regular is persistently looking for the submission but Toker is defending it well.
Regular keeps control of the position as Toker tries to break free.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Regular is riding his opponent, not letting Toker buck him off.
Toker is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Regular really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Toker.

Regular has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Toker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Regular is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Toker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
