Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinni Lighthouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gackt Camui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lighthouse moves in looking to clinch but Camui pushes him off.
Lighthouse displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lighthouse misses with a double jab.
Lighthouse throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Camui fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lighthouse sprawls well initially but Camui persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lighthouse is pressing down on Camui's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lighthouse working for a triangle but Camui defends it easily.

Camui really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lighthouse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Camui can do anything to dispel that myth.

Camui is in trouble now - Lighthouse has advanced to mount!
Camui wants to hold on but Lighthouse pushes him away.
Camui tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lighthouse works his way to his opponent's back.
Lighthouse tries to get the hooks in deep but Camui pushed the leg off.
You can see the frustration on Camui's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Lighthouse lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Camui wants to stand and escape but instead Lighthouse has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lighthouse is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Camui wants to stand and escape but Lighthouse is having none of it.
Lighthouse makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Camui has Lighthouse pulled in close to control his posture.
Lighthouse drops back looking for a leg! Camui is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Camui manages to kick Lighthouse off! Lighthouse jumps back into Camui's guard.
Lighthouse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Lighthouse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Camui moves away.
Camui should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lighthouse throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lighthouse looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lighthouse tries to clinch there but Camui circles away.

Camui looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lighthouse is fending him off so far but Camui persists. Nope, Lighthouse circles away and we're back to standing.
Lighthouse drops Camui with a right and a left! Lighthouse comes rushing in but Camui regains his composure and manages to keep Lighthouse in guard.

Camui has momentary wrist control but Lighthouse slips an elbow through the middle.
Camui is still in real trouble! Can Lighthouse finish him?

Camui has control of Lighthouse's left arm, preventing Lighthouse from doing any damage.

Camui throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lighthouse's waist but Lighthouse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Camui off to one side.

Camui lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camui has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lighthouse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lighthouse seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Camui does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lighthouse is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Camui looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lighthouse gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Camui is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lighthouse lets go of the hold and Camui can pop his arm back in it's socket.
