The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Benyam.
Benyam lands with a right hand.
LeBlanc throws a left and a right that both miss
and Benyam counters with a slapping leg kick.
LeBlanc misses with a wild combination.
Benyam dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on LeBlanc. That did some damage!
We've been told by LeBlanc's head coaches at ubergym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
LeBlanc takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Benyam lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Benyam bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps LeBlanc's head backwards.
Benyam lands with a nice body kick.
LeBlanc misses with a body punch
and Benyam counters with a left and a right that stings LeBlanc.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

LeBlanc is breathing heavily.
Benyam throws a front kick that sends LeBlanc stumbling back into the cage.
Benyam lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice leg kick from Benyam, right into the meat of the thigh.
LeBlanc misses with a body punch

Benyam throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
LeBlanc takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Benyam lands with a kick to the ribs.

Benyam lands an uppercut out of nowhere! LeBlanc falls backwards - clearly groggy! Benyam dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
