Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dewire (ranked 4735 p4p, 4377 weight class) and Levion Arthur (ranked 555 p4p, 529 weight class). Dewire comes to the cage accompanied by Come With Me Now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dewire shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Arthur is trying to defend but Dewire finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Arthur trying to control here.
Arthur tries to get to full guard but Dewire has control of the leg.
Dewire looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Arthur is pressing down on Dewire's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Arthur has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Dewire drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dewire jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Arthur lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dewire is looking for a triangle but Arthur pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Dewire closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Arthur's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Arthur is looking for a sweep.
Arthur is letting Dewire control him for a moment.

Dewire tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dewire has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dewire is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Arthur has escaped the position, nice work there.
Arthur is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dewire off and has taken his back!

Arthur looking to hold on to the position here but Dewire rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Arthur stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dewire swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dewire keeping moving, preventing Arthur from controlling successfully.

Dewire has his foot on Arthur's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arthur works his way back into a safe position though.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dewire working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Arthur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Arthur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Arthur trying to control the position from guard on top but Dewire is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Arthur moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Arthur manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dewire manages to get himself to full guard.

Arthur has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dewire to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Arthur is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dewire pulls down on the head and he's put Arthur to sleep! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Michael Dewire thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
