Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brayden Abner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ansgar Thorsen!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abner tries to clinch but Thorsen moves out of range.
Abner looks to land a combination but Thorsen avoids it well.
Abner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Abner fails with a takedown attempt.
Thorsen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Abner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thorsen as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brayden Abner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thorsen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abner forces Thorsen back against the cage and clinches.

Thorsen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Thorsen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Abner trying to control the position from guard on top but Thorsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Abner is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Thorsen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Abner is one step ahead there.
Thorsen keeps trying to improve his position.
Abner looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Abner tries to free his leg and advance position but Thorsen is retaining full guard.
Thorsen wants to sweep here but Abner controlling him for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Thorsen tries to clinch up but Abner circles away and keeps his distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Thorsen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Abner keeps the fight on the outside.
Abner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Abner keeps the fight on the outside.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brayden Abner.
I think Abner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
