Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Angel Heart (ranked 4298 p4p, 4625 weight class) and Primoz Benko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Primoz Benko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Angel Heart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Primoz Benko!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart lands a front kick.
Benko misses with a hook. Heart ducked under it nicely.
Heart seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Heart dives in and grabs Benko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Benko pushes down on Heart's head and hops out.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Benko.
Heart can't do much from the bottom here.
Heart tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Heart is not content to let Benko control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heart is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Benko off and has taken his back!
Benko trying to control but not successfully.
Benko is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Heart gets his way!

Benko is trying to break free.
Heart is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Benko is defending well though. Heart let's go of the attempt for now.
Benko manages to reverse the position and now he's in Heart's guard. Nice work there by Benko.
Heart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Benko connects with a couple of short punches.
Benko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Heart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Benko's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Benko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Heart's head.
Heart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Benko trying to control the position from guard on top but Heart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Benko postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Heart has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Benko has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Benko tightens his grip and picks Heart up, before dumping him to the ground. Heart manages to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heart wants to stand and escape but Benko is having none of it.
Heart keeping moving, preventing Benko from controlling successfully.
Heart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Benko has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA St Petersburg. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Heart not doing much here.
Heart blocks the strikes from Benko.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Benko throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Heart sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Benko defending well though.
Heart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Benko is trying to get back to full guard.
Heart trying to pass the guard but Benko defending well.
Benko is looking for a sweep. Heart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Benko is staying active underneath Heart, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Benko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heart moves away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Angel Heart will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Heart.
Heart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Benko moves into the clinch.
Heart tries to score a body lock takedown but Benko shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angel Heart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Benko's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Heart is trying to force a seperation but Benko has the dominant position.
Heart looking to stall.
Heart blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heart wants a takedown.
Heart blocks an uppercut.
Benko has picked Heart up - he's going for a ride! Benko dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Heart pushes Benko off and gets back to his feet.

Benko throws a shot from downtown. Heart moves away and avoids it.
Benko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Heart takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Heart is not content to let Benko control the position.
Benko looks up at the clock and then as Heart takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Benko smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Benko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Heart to see if he's OK.
Benko lands a decent elbow from side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Benko is looking to take a break and control but Heart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Heart is trying to control Benko's posture but Benko avoids it.

Heart is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Benko wants to control but Heart is keeping him busy.
Benko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Heart is refusing to be controlled, as Benko sits in half guard.

Oh Heart is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heart tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Benko has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Heart takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Benko postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Heart badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Benko around the waist but Benko pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Benko is the winner by TKO! Benko jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Primoz Benko!
