This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 32 wins and 33 losses; Pacer Dalton! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 7 losses; Denubis Majere!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?

Dalton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dalton takes a little break here. Majere wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Dalton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dalton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dalton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Majere has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dalton has managed to get both his arms back between Majere's legs - danger averted.

Majere felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Dalton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Majere will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dalton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Majere keeps working.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dalton is just content to waste time from the top position. Majere takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
