Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sey La Vie (ranked 1797 p4p, 2053 weight class) and Ed Jones (ranked 70 p4p, 77 weight class). Sey La Vie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sey La Vie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Jones!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a head kick but La Vie moves out of range.
That kick from Jones tenderised La Vie's leg. La Vie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
La Vie throwing a counter right hand but Jones manages to avoid it.
Jones throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jones dips to his left and cracks La Vie with an uppercut!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones wants to clinch but La Vie slips to the side
and La Vie counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Ed Jones has been cut.
La Vie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck La Vie on the side of the head.

Jones throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
La Vie misses with the head strike.
Jones pushes La Vie back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by La Vie.
La Vie tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Jones.
A right handed body shot lands from Jones.
La Vie is breathing heavily.
Jones lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
La Vie looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Jones blocking some punches.
Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Sey La Vie has been cut.
La Vie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jones digs a right hand into La Vie's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on La Vie's gas tank.

Jones lands with a short shot to the head.
Jones scores with a nice hook to the head.
Jones lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jones scores with a shoulder strike.
Jones lands a body punch in the clinch.
Jones lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Jones lands with a right to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Jones.
Jones has La Vie pressed against the cage.
Jones lands with a left to the head.
Jones presses La Vie against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A body shot lands from Jones.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
La Vie walks into a stiff left hand from Jones.
Ed Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones sends La Vie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jones is motioning to the referee to let La Vie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones connects with a jab.
La Vie is rocked!
Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends La Vie sprawling to the canvas! La Vie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
Oh La Vie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones cracks La Vie with a hook to the temple - La Vie is on wobbly legs here! Jones swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! La Vie falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jones wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ed Jones!
An out of breath Ed Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
