And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Thornton!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Thornton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thornton misses with a two punch combination.
Trapperson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A low kick from Thornton is predictable there
and Trapperson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Thornton!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Thornton reaches up around Trapperson's neck trying to control. But Trapperson takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Thornton! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Thornton is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Trapperson celebrates the victory with the fans!
