Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Not Ponor (ranked 1857 p4p, 4788 weight class) and Keith Thurman (ranked 265 p4p, 554 weight class). Thurman has chosen DMX lord give me a sign as his entrance music. Not Ponor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Keith Thurman 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Not Ponor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Thurman !
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thurman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ponor counters with a stiff right hand.
Ponor blocks a head kick by Thurman .
As Thurman looks to move away, Ponor throws a big counter combo but Thurman just gets out of the way.
Ponor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Thurman , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
An attempted straight right counter from Ponor misses the target.
Ponor on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thurman . Thurman obviously looking to wear him down.
Ponor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick by Ponor misses
and Thurman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Not Ponor has been cut.
Thurman tries to bum rush Ponor with a series of wild strikes but Ponor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ponor swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A head kick by Thurman misses
and Ponor counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thurman throws a lazy head kick
and Ponor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ponor misses with a head kick.
It seemed like Thurman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Thurman throws a lazy uppercut
and Ponor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Thurman is rocked!
Thurman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ponor counters with a nice body kick.
Thurman is still on wobbly legs! Can Ponor finish him?
Thurman looks winded!
BAM! Ponor delivers a spinning backfist that drops Thurman like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Not Ponor!
After winning the bout, Not Ponor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
