This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Rumsfeld Shart! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 5 losses; Dionisio De Herrera!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
De Herrera shoots in but Shart avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shart tries to clinch there but De Herrera circles away.
De Herrera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shart tries to avoid it but De Herrera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shart to the ground. Shart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shart half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Shart passes De Herrera's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
