Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tate Baker Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Dirt! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt closes the distance and pushes Baker Wright back into the cage. Dirt has a couple of punches blocked by Baker Wright.

Dirt swings wildly with an uppercut but Baker Wright uses good head movement to avoid it. Baker Wright gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dirt regains guard.

Baker Wright postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Baker Wright wants to pass the guard but Dirt is keeping the position. Baker Wright is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dirt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baker Wright gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Baker Wright is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Baker Wright keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dirt's head. Dirt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker Wright is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Baker Wright lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dirt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baker Wright doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baker Wright manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Baker Wright scoring with some ground and pound. Baker Wright's corner is telling him to maintain position. Baker Wright has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Dirt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Baker Wright is working Dirt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker Wright is in close to Dirt's body, working some short punches and elbows. Baker Wright connects with a couple of short punches. Baker Wright lands a couple of digs. Baker Wright content to stall in guard here. Baker Wright with a nice head shot there. Dirt wants to sweep but no luck. Dirt looks winded! Baker Wright distracts Dirt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Baker Wright's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dirt being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker Wright passes into half guard. Dirt looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Baker Wright is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Baker Wright perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Baker Wright works his way into side control. Baker Wright passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dirt!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker Wright working away from the top, dropping strikes. Baker Wright with the ground and pound from mount. Baker Wright definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Baker Wright lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Dirt is rocked! Dirt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baker Wright looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Dirt covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
