Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Johnson (ranked 2070 p4p, 24879 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Way Nada will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Nada sprawls well.
A countering left hand to the body from Nada misses.
Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johnson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Johnson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Johnson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Nada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nada manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Nada's guard.
Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Johnson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Johnson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nada sees it coming and defends easily.
Johnson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nada defend it? Johnson steps over the head and cranks it - Nada is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Johnson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Damien Johnson!
