Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 24583 p4p, 24402 weight class) and Kugus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion shoots in and drives through. Amiga sprawls well. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Amiga counters with a shoot takedown. Salvacion fights it but they end up in guard. Salvacion managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion is trying to control the position but Amiga postures up. Amiga sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Amiga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Amiga crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Salvacion - the referee stops the clock and Amiga gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Salvacion. Amiga manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard John Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard. Salvacion trying to control but Amiga is working from the bottom. Amiga seems keen to control Salvacion's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Nice sprawl there from Salvacion as Amiga shoots in. Salvacion appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Amiga closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salvacion quickly recovers to half guard. Amiga prevents Salvacion from improving his position. Amiga sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion controlling the position well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Amiga not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Salvacion trying to control from the bottom.
Salvacion is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salvacion doesn't succeed with the takedown and Amiga counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Amiga. Amiga controls from within his opponent's guard. Amiga being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position. Amiga controlling from the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Amiga has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Salvacion drives through with a takedown into guard. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Salvacion controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga controlling the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga dives in and scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Salvacion is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga postures up.
Amiga stays in close to Salvacion's body and controls the position. Salvacion is adopting a defensive guard. Salvacion trying to keep a closed guard but Amiga is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Richard John Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kugus Amiga is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salvacion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick. Salvacion shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Amiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion showed his dominance in that final round. Well Amiga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
