Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arman Avangyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Avangyan throws the left hand but Amiga avoids the punch easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Avangyan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Amiga defends it easily.
Amiga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Avangyan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite the aggression on Amiga's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Amiga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Avangyan's guard.
Avangyan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Avangyan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Amiga's head.

Avangyan gets to his feet and stands over Amiga, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Amiga felt that one! Avangyan unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Amiga from any more punishment!
