Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deutsche Krieger Iiii (ranked 4369 p4p, 4403 weight class) and Johann Letzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Deutsche Krieger Iiii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johann Letzel! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Letzel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krieger Iiii has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Letzel. Letzel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Letzel wants to stand but Krieger Iiii has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Letzel throws a strike but Krieger Iiii avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Krieger Iiii trying to keep a closed guard but Letzel is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krieger Iiii looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krieger Iiii is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Letzel tries to free his leg and advance position but Krieger Iiii is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Letzel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Krieger Iiii looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Letzel passes into side control.
Letzel is working Krieger Iiii over with some ground and pound from side control. Letzel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Krieger Iiii has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Letzel but great work by Krieger Iiii. Letzel looks to move to half guard but instead Krieger Iiii has passed into mount! Damn! Krieger Iiii throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Letzel because Krieger Iiii loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Letzel defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Krieger Iiii. Letzel tries to lock up and control but Krieger Iiii gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Letzel working to try and regain half guard.

Krieger Iiii is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Letzel defends it well. Letzel tries to get to full guard but Krieger Iiii has control of the leg. Krieger Iiii seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Krieger Iiii is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Krieger Iiii prevents Letzel from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Krieger Iiii is figuring out what he wants to do next. Letzel gets back to full guard.
Krieger Iiii throws an elbow that misses. Letzel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Krieger Iiii's guard. Nice move by Letzel! That was a close round but I would say that Deutsche Krieger Iiii will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Letzel tries to close the distance and clinch but Krieger Iiii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Letzel tries to clinch up. Krieger Iiii throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. No joy there for Letzel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice uppercut lands for Krieger Iiii. That snapped Letzel's head back.
Krieger Iiii shoots for a double leg takedown but Letzel sprawls well. He's pushed Krieger Iiii's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Krieger Iiii sets himself, and Letzel steps forward looking for the clinch! Krieger Iiii avoids it this time. Deutsche Krieger Iiii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No joy there for Letzel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Krieger Iiii shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Letzel counters with a three punch combo that has Krieger Iiii backing up. Krieger Iiii nods at Letzel to acknowledge the strikes. Letzel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Krieger Iiii has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Letzel is on him like a limpet, forcing Krieger Iiii back against the cage. Letzel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Letzel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Krieger Iiii to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Letzel pulls Krieger Iiii in to control the position.

Krieger Iiii loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Krieger Iiii works a leg free and moves into half guard. Deutsche Krieger Iiii overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Krieger Iiii in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Letzel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Letzel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krieger Iiii's guard.

Krieger Iiii shoots in but Letzel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
