Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Okafor (ranked 67 p4p, 809 weight class) and Akimbo Spice (ranked 13 p4p, 109 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spice looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mike Okafor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Okafor has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Spice might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Okafor has got the better of the exchanges.

Okafor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Okafor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Spice.

Mike Okafor is winning the standup battle so far.
Spice with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okafor to score with a decent uppercut.
Okafor circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Spice to the canvas! Spice doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Okafor keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
