The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dagani moves out of range of the body kick.
Max Dagani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dagani throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dagani swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maddox throws a leg kick but Dagani sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Maddox misses with the combination.
Some wild striking there from Maddox.
Maddox just misses with a punch to the body.
Dagani stalks Maddox and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Maddox's face. Maddox staggers backwards, shaken.
Dagani loads up on a big right hand but Maddox slips the punch.
Maddox throws a wild body kick that Dagani sees coming a mile off.
Maddox pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Maddox throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dagani.
A head kick misses from Maddox.
Dagani moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Maddox goes down! Can Dagani finish him!?

It looks like Diesel Maddox has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dagani is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dagani wants to control from the top but Maddox keeps moving.
Maddox looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dagani is one step ahead there.

Dagani looking to pass the guard.
Dagani trying to control but Maddox is working from the bottom.
Maddox is striking from the bottom but Dagani uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Dagani is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maddox wants to improve his position but Dagani is controlling well.
Dagani wants to control but Maddox is keeping him busy.
Maddox is looking to control Dagani's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maddox avoid being mounted?
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dagani slows the pace down in half guard.
Maddox wants to improve his position but Dagani is controlling well.
Dagani wants to stand up but Maddox has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Maddox takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dagani misses with a few strikes there.
Dagani ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maddox moves away.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Dagani! This one is all over!
